WELCOME TO THE COW-LADY'S WEBSITE                                 AND HOME OF COWABUNGA FOR KIDS

I'm so glad you stopped by to see me. You'll find some neat things about my picture book, WHEN THE COWS GOT LOOSE, and some fun stuff about family and me. There's also a page describing my author visits and conference presentations.  And you can order a book, if you don't have one yet. You can even hear me read the story aloud.  So, graze around a while and check out the site.

And just so you know -- I've been working on:

 ~ an easy reader about a boy who loves baseball, who teaches his pet pig to play;

 ~ a YA novel with a cast of quirky characters;

 ~ and my first novel-in-verse.

Thanks for visiting!    MOO-OO-OO!!!

I'D LOVE TO VISIT YOUR SCHOOL OR LIBRARY!

A visit from a real live author can bring books alive for both children and adults. This past summer I did 20 fun-filled events at public libraries across the state, from Great Barrington to Wellfleet.

If you'd like to know more about the programs I present at schools, libraries, and conferences, check out my Author Visits page, so you can plan a visit.

This year COWABUNGA FOR KIDS teams up with Heifer International to help provide cows and other livestock for families around the world. How's that work? A portion of your school and/or library program fee will be donated to Heifer International.  Learn more about the organization at  Heifer.org and then sign up for a School or Library Visit today.

I'm gearing up for the Strolling of the Heifers event in Brattleboro, VT.  I'll be signing books by the Family Entertainment tent from 9:00am - 3:00pm on Saturday, June 6.  Come to the Stroll and stop by and see me!!

I'm also getting ready for the Summer Reading season with my first event at Upton Town Library on June 11.  Just one of my many library events         scheduled this year in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont and New Hampshire.  Hope to be seeing you this summer!
